It’s a space to take stock of what you’ve learned so far, to reflect on your motivations, and to reconnect with the parts of yourself – your values, your soul, your inner knowing – that brought you to this path.

TUTORIAL 7: End-of-life Doula Course

Advance care planning is a key part of a doula’s role. It allows us to support individuals early, build trust over time, and help them make informed choices that reduce fear and ease future suffering.
Module 7 Objectives:

Explain how planning ahead enables doulas to reduce distress and offer meaningful support at the end of life.
TUTORIAL 8 End-of-life Doula Course
“Developing Your Practice”
When you think of the idea of “dying well,” who does that apply to?
Who might be excluded or face barriers to this kind of experience?
How does this awareness affect your evolving practice or the way you show up in the world?
This module invites you to reflect on what it means to serve others with integrity, while also caring for yourself and your boundaries.

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

Recognise the importance of protecting your emotional, physical, and energetic well-being in doula practice.

Identify practical ways to collaborate with other end-of-life doulas and members of the care team.
